This is the final episode in a three part series of interviews with Chicken John who has been burning since 1994. In addition to refuting insistent claims put forth by the Black Rock City LLC denying preferential treatment towards the media , Chicken John recounts one of the earliest and (until Paul Addis came along) most infamous Burning Man pranks when in 1996 (the year of the Helco theme) a neon smiley face was installed within the effigy to which Larry Harvey immediately censured.
